The Admitting Process –What to Expect

Trillium accepts patients from General Acute Care referral hospitals, as well as admissions directly from the community who meet criteria. Upon referral or inquiry, our Admitting Department will arrange for Trillium’s field Clinical Liaison to meet and screen the referral patient’s needs, meet with the patient/family, and determine if placement in our hospital is appropriate. Once criteria and insurance eligibility has been verified, our staff will arrange transportation, physician assignment, and all other transfer details.
