What is a Clinical Liaison?

A Clinical Liaison is a unique professional who fulfills many critical aspects of the Admitting process at Trillium. Beginning with a field assessment during which our Clinical Liaison confers with the treating clinicians from the referral hospital, the Liaison will:

Assess the prospective patient from a clinical criteria standpoint
Provide education and information about Trillium's services to the patient/family
Gather necessary documentation and necessary medical information
Coordinate information with Trillium's various hospital departments
Facilitate all aspects of the Admitting process, such as set-up of transportation, coordination with outside insurance companies where applicable, and finalize transfer arrangements

Generally, our Clinical Liaisons have a licensed clinical background, and extensive professional experience in various hospital settings.

Trillium's team of Clinical Liaisons cover all referral hospitals in the Valley and many referral hospitals located throughout Arizona.
